If I’m working out first thing in the morning, I do fasted HIIT or cardio. I wake up, put on the workout clothes I laid out the night before, throw my hair up and brush my teeth, shake up a pre-workout, and head straight to the gym or scheduled class.
Midday pump up…
I try not to eat about an hour before my workout so I will burn fat rather than run on my most recent carb intake. If I’m feeling the midday slump (aka lacking energy and motivation) I then rely on a that pre workout…unless it’s after 4pm.
